Harris County Precinct 4 approved the West Park Municipal Utility District’s (MUD’s) Places for People application that was submitted in June.
The Places for People project scope includes the construction of sidewalks along Park Row that will connect multiple developments and businesses from Fry Road to the newly constructed sidewalks along Greenhouse.
From Greenhouse, pedestrians can access several amenities such as the District’s own West Park Preserve, Cullen Park, and the vast network of trail systems throughout the Addicks Reservoir. This project was submitted as a 30% design project and paid for by West Park MUD. Construction will likely begin in the latter half of 2025.
On the above map, the pink line represents the Places and People sidewalk project that will be taking place.
